1. Push/Pull is a brand that I created with Benjamin Gott of The Brilliance after a summer of riding and racing track bikes in the city of Grand Rapids. We created this brand to represent us, the new breed of kids who are getting into cycling. We were brought up on bmx bikes, and now are riding fixed gears in the city. We just started road racing, but most of the kit and culture is ugly or uninteresting. Our inspiration ranges from rapha to red kap, and our intention is to never take it to serious.

2. American apparel 50/50 tees fit like a dream and feel great on and off the bike.

3. One of the best things I ever learned in a design class was to treat tee shirts like billboards. People are only going to have about 4 seconds to take them in, so keep it short and to the point.
