Saturday November 7th, The tradition of the 280 studios art battle continues. Watch local artists create a piece of art from scratch on a 4x4 canvas in under three hours. A grand prize of $500 will be awarded to the artist with the most audience votes at the end of the night. Hear good music spun all night, and a live set by grand rapids' own the little village. An eight dollar dollar cover gets you access to the event, a raffle ticket for door prizes, refreshments, and a ballot to vote for your favorite artist at the end of the night. Doors at 9PM, artists work from 10PM - 1AM, the winner announced at 1:45AM.

ARTIST INFO:
Participants will be provided with a 4’x4’ sheet of fine grain plywood and a workspace. The wood must be used in the final piece. Keep power tools to a minimum. Artists must bring their own supplies. (brushes, paint, tape, extra lighting, etc.)
The battle will start at 10pm on November 7th and will continue until 1am. At 1:15am paper votes will be collected from the audience and the winner will be announced at 1:45am. The winner will receive $500 in cash on the spot. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be split. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 8pm to allow time for registration and set up.
An entry fee of $30 must be received to participate. Limit 25 participants. More than one person may sign up as a team with no additional entry fee.
